Being a member of The Derbyshire Singers can offer you the opportunity to sing  with an inspiring conductor and to work with professional singers and instrumentalists.

The choir rehearses at The Presentation Convent, Chesterfield Road, Matlock on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30 pm.
 

We warmly welcome new members if the balance of the choir allows. At the beginning of each term (the beginning of September and January, and immediately after the Spring concert), the first two rehearsals are designated as open rehearsals where potential new members are invited to come along and join in singing with us to hear what we're like and to get a feel for what the choir is all about.  You would be joining us at the beginning of rehearsing for the next concert so we would all be starting to learn the music.  

These open rehearsals are the time to become a member of the choir, as joining mid-term would mean you would not have been to enough rehearsals to sing in the concert itself.
